Pastor John and Family
Pastor John and his wife Spring have been serving at Mars Hill Baptist Church since January 2013. Both John and Spring call Maryland their home. John grew up in Harford County, Maryland. Spring moved to Maryland at a young age and grew up in Middle River.
John and Spring were married in 2004. They have five kids: Kalyn (19), Emily (13), Abigail (12), Jeremiah (7), and Isaac (5). As a family, they feel called to minister to others and serve in a church.
John graduated with a Bachelors in Communications from Wesley College, Delaware. Later, he attended and received his Masters from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
John has a sincere love for people and reaching the community for Christ. Through meeting people, having conversations, and listening to others, John is able to make personal connections with others. He always shares that it’s not about your religion, but rather your personal relationship with the Lord.
